Our neurosurgeons use the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools to diagnose and treat conditions of the brain and spine. These, and image-guided surgery techniques, have transformed many major surgeries into more minimally invasive procedures, resulting in fewer complications and reduced recovery time. For example, we use one of only two Gamma Knives in the state to treat conditions, such as brain lesions and other abnormalities, without an incision. Instead, high doses of precisely focused radiation are transmitted to treat and cure many difficult brain lesions, brain tumors and other critical conditions.
